Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

28-d NOAEC: 1.37 mg/kg soil dw (highest concentration tested, nitrogen/carbon transformation, OECD 216/217, Schultz, 2011; organic carbon content of soil: 1.35 %)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Long-term EC10 or NOEC for soil microorganisms:
1.37 mg/kg soil dw

Additional information

Summary of the data:

28-d NOAEC: 1.37 mg/kg soil dw (highest concentration tested, nitrogen transformation, OECD 216, Schultz, 2011)

28-d NOAEC: 1.37 mg/kg soil dw (highest concentration tested, carbon transformation, OECD 217, Schultz, 2011)

The organic carbon content of the soil used for testing was: 1.35 %.

Two tests with soil microorganisms are available (nitrogen and carbon transformation). Both are considered to be relevant, reliable, adequate for risk assessment, and adequate for classification purposes. However, since the NOEC result of both tests is equivalent to the highest concentration tested, the true NOEC might be significantly higher.
