First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for several minutes. Seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry powder, foam, carbon dioxide or waterspray (do not use
direct jet of water) may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and
nitrogen together with hydrogen chloride and hydrogen
fluoride gas and some soot. Dioxin-like compounds may also
be released in trace amounts.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Take up spill
using suitable absorbent material (eg sand, soil,
diatomaceous earth etc). Transfer to labelled containers and
dispose of by incineration in accordance with local
regulations.

Wash spill site with water, Do not allow washings to enter
surface or ground water or water supplies or drains.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic
chemicals. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin, eyes and
clothing. PVC gloves, goggles or face-shield and a gas mask
with universal filter should be used.

Storage: Store in closed containers away from light and humidity.

Keep away from pesticides, fertilizers, food and feed.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 200 litre plastic-lined steel drums.
