First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with running water for 15 minutes. If

irritation persists, seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove any contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and

water. If irritation persists seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Symptomatic treatment.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Suitable extinguishing agents are carbon dioxide, dry

powder, foam, earth and water mist. Products of combustion

may include oxides of carbon and nitrogen together with

some soot. Firefighters should wear a self-contained

breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear PVC gloves and protective boots. Collect spill tightly

closed containers and dispose of at an authorised site.

Collect any contaminated soil for disposal. Do not allow

water run-off to enter sewage system.

Handling and storage

Handling: Wear goggles and PVC gloves. If an aerosol dust is created,

wear a dust mask (NPK 7-10). Avoid contact with eyes, skin

and clothing.

Storage: Store in a cool dry area.

with strong acids and oxidisers.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: After curing, articles containing the substance may be

disposed of by this route.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended method. Flue-gas scrubbing to remove nitrogen

oxides should be used.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended, due to low water solubility.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable. The substance will not enter the public

domain.
