Description of key information

EC50 (30 min): 3200 mg/L for Pseudomonas putida (DIN 38412-27)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

One study investigating the toxicity to microorganisms of Fatty acids, C8-10, oxybis(2-hydroxy-3,1-propanediyl) esters (CAS 92044-91-2) according to DIN 38412-27 is available. The test was conducted with Pseudomonas putida as test organisms. P. putida were exposed to nominal test concentrations of 30, 100, 300, 1000 and 10000 mg/Lfor 30 minutes. Based on the oxygen consubtion of the bacteria an EC50 (30 min) of 3200 mg/L (EC10 (30 min): 140 mg/L) based on nominal concentrations was determined.
