Description of key information
Based on an assessment of the chemical structure, 1,3-Bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane was not considered to have oxidising properties.

The requirement for an experimental determination of oxidising properties was waived on the basis that 1,3 -Bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane would not be expected to have oxidising properties. This conclusion was based on an assessment of the chemical structure of the substance.
Justification for classification or non-classification
The test substance is not expected to have oxidising properties. On this basis there is no evidence to suggest classification as an oxidiser under the Dangerous Substances Directive (Directive 67/548/EEC) or the CLP Regulation (EC Regulation 1202/2008).
