First-aid measures

Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an

unconscious person. Seek immediate medical attention.

Skin: Immediately wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse. Destroy contaminated

shoes. Seek immediate medical attention.

Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Seek immediate medical attention.

Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.

Overexposure Effects: Causes severe eye irritation and may cause eye burns. Can cause skin irritation and allergic skin reaction.

Can be fatal if inhaled and can be harmful if swallowed.

Medical Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Allergy, eczema or skin conditions.

Additional Information: Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Fire-fighting measures

Fire Fighting Extinguishing Media: Carbon dioxide, foam, dry chemical, water spray.

Fire Fighting Equipment: Use self-contained breathing apparatus.

Fire and Explosion Hazards: Decomposition and combustion products may be toxic. Dusty conditions can lead to explosion

hazard.

Accidental release measures

Accidental Release Measures: Avoid personal contact. Shovel into approved disposal container. Flush contaminated area with

water.

Handling and storage

Signal Word: Danger!

Precautions: Causes severe eye irritation and may cause eye burns. Can cause skin irritation and allergic skin reaction. Can be

fatal if inhaled and can be harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes. Do not breath vapor or mist. Avoid contact with skin and

clothing. Avoid tasting or swallowing. Keep container closed when not in use. Use with adequate ventilation. Wash thoroughly

after handling. Notice! Possible reproductive health hazard. Overeposure may cause male reproductive disorders.

Storage Information: Store in tightly closed containers in cool, dry area. This resin should under no circumstances be heated to

more than 120°C for more than 12 hours. Hazardous autopolymerisation may occur with larger amounts of the material in

containers that are not heat controlled. Also, there is a risk of violent reaction of molten resin with water.

Storage hazard class : Storage class 13, Solid materials, not dangerous

Exposure controls / personal protection

Personal Protective Equipment: Wear protective equipment to prevent all exposure and personal contact.

Skin Protection: Wear impervious gloves.

Material of gloves for long term application (BTT>480 min):

Butyl rubber Ethyl Vinyl Alcohol Laminate (EVAL) Material of gloves for short term/splash application (10

min<BTT<480 min):

Nitrile rubber Use gloves approved to relevant standard. e.g. EN 374 (Europe), F739 (US).

Suitability and durability of a glove is dependent on usage, e.g. frequency and duration of contact, chemical resistance of glove

material and dexterity. Always seek advice from glove suppliers.

Additonal information can be found for instance at www.gisbau.de

Respiratory Protection: Use NIOSH approved dust respirator during all operations with a potential for generating dust.

In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory

equipment. Filter type AX-P3 (organic vapours, particles)

Eye Protection: Wear side-shield goggles or full face shield.

Engineering Controls: Good general mechanical ventilation and local exhaust are required to meet the recommended TWA.

Stability and reactivity

Conditions to Avoid: At elevated temperatures, material may undergo rapid exothermic reaction leading to decomposition.

Stability: Stable.

Incompatibility: Strong oxidizers, acids and alkalies. Heated resin may react with water.

Hazardous Decomposition Products: Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, aldehydes, nitrogen oxides.

Hazardous Polymerization: May occur.

Note: Take necessary action to avoid static electricity discharge.

Disposal considerations

Waste Disposal Method: Dispose in accordance with federal, state and local regulations
