Description of key information

The aquatic toxicity of PTPTT was investigated in acute aquatic toxicity studies on three trophic levels: algae, invertebrates and fish. All studies were performed according to OECD guidelines and in compliance with GLP principles. The aquatic toxicity data indicated that algae are the most sensitive species, with a 72h growth inhibition ErC50 of 0.45 mg/L for the green algaPseudokirchneriella subcapitata. For the freshwater fishPimephales promelas, a 96h LC50 of 1.2 mg/L was observed. For the freshwater invertebrateDapnia magna, a 48h EC50 of 0.79 mg/L was observed.
