Justification:

Although the substance can be considered to fulfil the criteria of Toxicity, it does not fulfil the criteria for Persistency and Bioaccumulation, as specified in REACH Annex XIII. As such, the substance cannot be considered as a PBT or vPvB substance, based on the available data.

Furthermore, this material has been assessed by the UK Environment Agency Member State Authority, in their report references as “Environmental risk evaluation report: Tricresyl phosphate (CAS no. 1330-78-5)”. The conclusion of the UK Environment Agency Member State Authority is as follows (page iv):

Tricresyl phosphate does not meet the criteria for a persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) or very persistent and very bioaccumulative (vPvB) substance.
