Details on study design:
For the genotoxicity tests, blood samples (5 ml) were collected in sodium heparin (BD Vacutainer, 367876, USA), lithium heparin (BD Vacutainer, 368884, USA), and EDTA- coated trace element (BD Vacutainer, 368381, USA) tubes via disposable intake sets (BD
Vacutainer, Eclipse 368609, USA). Preparations for the tests were initiated immediately after blood samples were taken.

Details on exposure:
MMA levels in the ambient air of prosthesis laboratories were measured via sampling pump kit and Gastec Detector Tubes No.149 (Japan). Sampling was performed twice (before and after sample collection) in each of six different dental labs.
The detection limit was 1 ppm and the sampling volume was 200 ml.
The duration of each sampling was 4 min.
MMA levels in the ambient air of dental prosthesis laboratories were in the 25–50 ppm range, not exceeding international safety limits
