Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Volatilization from Water/Soil:

The Henry's Law constant for ethylene glycol monoethyl ether is 4.7X10-7 atm-cu m/mole (1). This value indicates that ethylene glycol monoethyl ether will be essentially nonvolatile from water and moist soil surfaces (2). Ethylene glycol monoethyl ether's vapor pressure of 5.31 mm Hg (3), indicates that volatilization from dry soil surfaces may occur (SRC).
