*The assay No. 10 was performed by mistake (the temperature was lower than 214°C whereas no auto-ignition was observed at 214°C) but was taken into account due to the auto-ignition observed.

The lowest auto-ignition temperature was found to be around 211°C (observed value) with a volume of 70 µL.

The main test was conducted using this volume.

Conclusion

The auto-ignition temperature of the test item was 213°C ± 3°C (corrected temperature).

Conclusions:
An auto-ignition temperature of 213°C ± 3°C at 101.3 kPa was determined for the substance using a relevant test method and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable.

Description of key information

Auto-ignition temperature: 213°C ± 3°C at 101.3 kPa (EU Method A.15)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
213 °C

Additional information

A measured auto-ignition temperature of 213°C ± 3°C at 101.3 kPa was determined for the registered substance in accordance with EC A.15. Method (2008) and in compliance with GLP. The result is considered to be reliable and is selected as key study.

In available secondary sources to which reliability could not be assigned, auto-ignition temperature values of 210°C and 220°C at 1013 hPa were reported for the substance.
