Details on results:
The steady-state residue values found in the carcass and viscera of fish were determined as follows:

Formulation 1/0.02 ppm of 14C RH-886: 0.609 ppm in carcass and 4.08 ppm in viscera

Formulation 1/0.12 ppm of 14C RH-886: 3.19 ppm in carcass and 18.8 ppm in viscera

Formulation 1/0.8 ppm of 14C RH-886: 17.8 ppm in carcass and 240 ppm in viscera

Formulation 2/0.12 ppm of 14C RH-886 : 0.575 ppm in carcass and 4.81 ppm in viscera

Following exposure of fish to 14C RH-886 labelled on the RH-573 component, the resulting BCF of 14C residues was 5.75 in carcass and 48.1 in viscera.

Elimination of 50% of 14C residues took place in less than 7 days in all cases.

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Following exposure of fish to 14C RH-886 labelled on the RH-573 component, the resulting BCF of 14C residues was 5.75 in carcass and 48.1 in viscera.

Elimination of 50% of 14C residues took place in less than 7 days in all cases.
Executive summary:

The bioaccumulation potential of 14C labelled MIT was examined in Lepomis macrochirus (bluegill). Fish were exposed to 0.12 ppm MIT under flow through conditions for up to 56 days. Following exposure to the test material, some fish were exposed to fresh water for up to 14 days. After 56 days exposure, 0.575 ppm labelled material was found in the carcass and 4.81 ppm labelled material was found in viscera. Following exposure of fish to 14C RH-886 labelled on the RH-573 component, the resulting BCF of 14C residues was 5.75 in carcass and 48.1 in viscera. Elimination of 50% of 14C residues took place in less than 7 days in all cases.
