Information requirements: 1 to 10 tonnes per year
To register a substance manufactured or imported between 1 to 10 tonnes per year, you need to provide information on its physicochemical, toxicological and ecotoxicological properties - except where the requirement does not apply to your substance. Detailed information about the requirements can be found in REACH Annex VII.
Based on the data you have, your aim is to agree with your co-registrants the appropriate classification and labelling for your substance.
If you can show that your substance has a predicted low risk, you can benefit from reduced information requirements and only submit the physicochemical information (listed in section 7 of Annex VII).
Alternatively, if you submit your registration for 1 to 10 tonnes per year with the full set of information listed in Annex VII, you do not have to pay a registration fee. In this case, you need to claim a fee waiver when creating your dossier in IUCLID. However, if your substance fulfils the Annex III criteria the fee waiver is not applicable and you will have to pay the registration fee.
