Creating your registration dossier

After you have compiled all the information on your substance necessary for fulfilling the REACH requirements, you need to document your findings in a registration dossier.

Two types of dossiers can be prepared depending on your role in the joint submission:

  • The lead registrant dossier, which includes the identity of the substance covered in the joint submission, the information on the properties of the substance as well as the company-specific information of the lead registrant For lead registrant dossier you can use:
    1. IUCLID Cloud for SMEs
      If you are a consultant working for a small or medium-sized company (SME); or if you are an SME with non-frequent use of IUCLID.
    2. IUCLID application
      If you manage large amounts of data or you would like to use all advanced functions.
  • Member dossiers, where all the other registrants include their company-specific information, like contact details, exact substance identification, the volumes produced or imported and the uses of the chemical by their customers.For member dossier you can use:
    1. IUCLID Cloud for SMEs
      If you are a consultant working for a small or medium-sized company (SME); or if you are an SME with non-frequent use of IUCLID.
    2. Dossier creation in REACH-IT
      If you are a member of a joint submission and agree with all information submitted on your behalf by the lead registrant.
    3. IUCLID application
      For all other cases, use the full IUCLID application
