Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance shows no acute toxicity to Daphnia at saturation concentration in the test medium.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Two tests were performed for the acute toxicity to Daphnia using the OECD Guideline 202 and EU Method C.2 and in compliance with GLP. Considering the low water solubility of the substance, saturation solutions were prepared and no immobilisation was observed at the maximum tested concentrations in the test medium, which are 0.05 mg/L and 0.1 mg/ respectively. The substance was demonstrated to be not acutely toxic to Daphnia (NOEC >= 0.05 mg/l and NOEC >= 0.1 mg/L).

The NOEC >= 0.1 mg/l will be used to express the lack of toxicity of the substance to aquatic invertebrates.
