Description of key information

The organic constituent of the test substance is readily biodegradable (according to OECD criteria).
Biodegradation is not applicable to the metal constituent of the test substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test substance is an organometallic compound. To assess the biodegradation potential of the test substance a GLP study following the procedures of OECD guideline 301 B is available. The test was carried out with non-adapted domestic sludge. For the organic part of the molecule a degradation of 74% after 29 days was determined. However, biodegradation is not applicable to the zinc constituent of the test substance.
