Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

16.0 µm diameter at 12.2 % oversize
8.0 µm diameter at 66.3 % oversize
1.0 µm diameter at 97.1 % oversize

Additional information

The test substance could not be analysed in accordance with the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals No. 110 "Particle Size Distribution/Fibre Length and Diameter Distributions".

The diameter in µm were:

16.0 at 12.2 % oversize

8.0 at 66.3 % oversize

1.0 at 97.1 % oversize

Median of mass distribution (diameter), mean of two analysis: 9.9 µm

The 8.1 % in volume of the test item has a particle size <= 4 µm (respirable fraction (the mass fraction of particles that reaches the alveoli) (respirable fraction - the mass fraction of particles that reaches the alveoli), as indicated in the CEN document, EN 481‘Workplace Atmospheres - size fraction definitions for measurement of airborne particles”, 1993.
