- Executive summary:
The purpose of the study was determination of the water solubility of FAT 41001/H according to the European Commission Regulation (EC) No.440/2008, A6. Water solubility , flask – method and OECD test guidelines OECD 105 water solubility were used to performed the experiment.
The water solubility cs of the test item at a temperature of 20 °C was determined to (without correction for the purity): cs = 332 g/L. FAT 41001 is very soluble (> 10000 mg/L).

The preliminary visual experiments showed that the water solubility of the test item is >208 g/l and <1040 g/l. Therefore the water solubility had to be determined by the “flask method”
Due to the high-water solubility it was tested which amount of the test substance could be stirred in a defined volume of water.
