The study, carried out according to the HPLC Method, determines three independent values of log Pow; the mean value is reported as 5.067.

Variations in the retention times of reference items and test item were very small. Therefore, a stable configuration of the HPLC-column was assumed. The correlation log K/Log Pow was good; the coefficient of determination r2 was calculated with 0.9927. This value was considered as sufficiently high to use the calibration function for the determination of the log Pow of the test item 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8- Tridecafluorooctyl acrylate.
