Animal and human data specifically evaluating skin or lung sensitisation were not found. 

Lead tetracetate has been classified as corrosive (Skin Corr. 1B, H314) on the basis of the presence of acetic acid (Skin Corr. 1A, H314) as an impurity in the substance. In accordance with Column 2 of Sections 8.1 and 8.2 of REACH Annex VII, sensitisation do not have to be conducted for lead tetraacetate on the basis that the available information indicates that the criteria are met for classification as corrosive.
