PBT assessment: overall result

PBT status:
the substance is not PBT / vPvB

The substance has shown to be readily biodegradable and thus is not considered persistent. In the absence of persistency, a substance can neither be considered vPvB nor PBT and hence further studies investigating bioaccumulation potential are not needed. However, the bioaccumulation potential was estimated by QSAR and found being 123.7 L/kg ww and thus not considered critical.

No indications were found for the toxicity criterion as also aquatic toxicity is void within limitations of water solubility and the substance is not considered CMR or having chronic effects that could be seen in repeated dose studies.
