Description of key information

In a biodegradaiton test according to ASTM (No. 3), 7PPD showed 0 % degradation after 35 days. Therefore, 7PPD is considered not readily biodegradable. In an Aerobic Soil Study with 7PPD, the parent compound disappeared with a half-life of <1.9 days. No significant metabolites were found. Most of the radioactivity (about 80 % at day 56) was found as non-extractable. The main pathway was a strong adsorption or binding to soil.
