Additional information

Changes in the respiration rate of domestic, activated sludge in presence of 4-methylanisole was tested in a study according to OECD guideline 209. After 180 minutes an EC50 >500 mg/l was recorded (BASF AG 1999). In a second test according to test methods proposed by ROBRA the respiration rate of Pseudomonas putida exposed to the test subsance was determined. At test termination after 30 min an EC50 of 5272 mg/l was detected.
