A log Pow value for the simular substance MDI (CAS 26447-40-5) has been determined. However, given the reactivity of MDI in the aquatic environment and its transient existence in water, the log Pow has little direct relevance to MDI's environmental fate, intermedia transport and ecotoxicity.
A log Pow value of 4.51 is determined at 22 degrees Celsius. The OECD 117 method was followed.
