First-aid measures

• After inhalation: Move to fresh air. If symptoms persist get medical advice/attention.
• After skin contact: Wash skin with water and soap, remove contaminated clothing. In case of irritation get medical attention.
• After eye contact: Rinse cautiously with tempered water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice/attention.
After swallowing: Rinse mouth with water and drink water. If large amount been ingested get medical advice/attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing agents:
CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing agents: Water with full jet

Protective equipment:
Wear fully protective suit.
Respiratory protective device.

Additional information
Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter the sewage system. Cool endangered receptacles with water spray.

Accidental release measures

Important: Remove all ignition sources. Do not smoke.
Handle only under strictly controlled conditions in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Art.18(4).
In case of major spill immediately contact the rescue services.

Person-related safety precautions:
Keep unprotected persons away.
Wear fully protective suit. Wear full face mask with filter for organic substances.

Measures for environmental protection:
Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.
Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system.

Measures for cleaning/collecting:
Remove all ignition sources. Ensure adequate ventilation. Use non-sparking tools and ex-proof equipment.
Small spill: Absorb with liquid-binding material (sand, diatomite, inert binders) and shovel up without creating sparks.
Large spill: Collect by pumping. Clean area with water and detergent.

Handling and storage

Handle only under strictly controlled conditions in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Art.18(4).
Handle in closed system.
Comply with Directive 94/9/EC concerning equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and,
Directive 1999/92/EC regarding minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres.

Storage: Store under inert atmosphere, e.g. nitrogen pad.
