First-aid measures

INHALATION

Move the casualty into the fresh air. Consult a doctor if the person has difficulty in breathing.

SKIN CONTACT

In the case of contact with the skin, wash immediately with abundant soap and water.

EYE CONTACT

Wash with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes.

Lift the eyelid to wash the eyeball and inner surface of the eyelid.

Consult an ophthalmologist.

INGESTION

Do not induce vomiting. If the casualty vomits naturally, bend them forwards to avoid the risk of them choking.

SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA

Powder, carbon dioxide (CO2), foam, atomised water.

SPECIFIC HAZARDS DURING FIRE

Harmful gases produced by the flame due to incomplete combustion, may contain carbon monoxide.

SPECIAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR FIREFIGHTERS

Use personal protective equipment.

Wear self contained breathing apparatus.

Additional advice

Use atomised water to cool closed containers in a fire.

Exposure controls / personal protection

MEASURES OF HYGIENE

Avoid letting the product come into contact with the skin, eyes or clothes. Do not inhale the fumes. Wash your hands before breaks and

immediately after having handled the product.

PROTECTION OF THE RESPIRATORY TRACT

Wear respiratory protection if ventilation is inadequate. Gas filter EN 141 type A for gases and vapours of organic compounds (bolling point >65°C).

HAND PROTECTION

Suitable chemical resistant safety gloves (EN 374) e.g. nitrile rubber, chloroprene rubber,PVC and other. The practical usage time depends on many conditions, see manufacturer's directions.
