Flammability

Description of key information

In accordance with section 2 of REACH Annex XI, the flammability (solids and gases) studies (required in section 7.10) do not need to be conducted as the substance is a liquid. In accordance with section 2.6.1 of CLP Regulation (1272/2008/CE) Annex I, ‘Flammable liquid’ means a liquid having a flashpoint of not more than 60 °C. Therefore, the flammability (contact with water and pyrophoric properties of solids and liquids) studies (required in section 7.10) do not need to be conducted as the flash point of the substance is above 60 °C ( See endpoint 4.11).
