- Name of test material (as cited in study report): MnSO4 (the batch number is the same as that used in the GLP water solubility study and is for manganese sulphate monohydrate)
- Substance type: extremely pale pink powder
- Physical state: Solid
- Lot/batch No.: 08729
- Expiration date of the lot/batch: Not reported
- Stability under test conditions: Not reported
- Storage condition of test material: Room temperature in the dark.

Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

Any other information on results incl. tables

During the preliminary screening test, the pile failed to ignite during the two minutes that the Bunsen flame was applied. The negative results of the screening test negated the need to perform the main test.
