Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex X, the long-term toxicity to sediment organisms study does not need to be conducted as the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I has not indicated a need to investigate further the effects of the substance and/or degradation products on sediment organisms.

Sediment effect values have been derived from a validated TLM-EqP modeling framework to provide additional data even though testing is not required. These data were considered reliable.

The PNECs and hazard to sediment organisms was assessed by applying the equilibrium partitioning method (EqP) to the experimentally derived aquatic effect concentrations.

TLM QSAR modelling was used to estimate LL50 and NOELR values for L. variegatus. The calculated LL50 values were 22.498 - 75.783 mg/kg sediment dw and the NOELR values were 4.308 - 14.518 mg/kg sediment dw.
