Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Vapour pressure: 202000 Pa at 20°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A vapour pressure value of 310 mmHg (equivalent to 41329 Pa) is reported at 25°C in secondary literature. However, the original reference was not available for review and no further information is available. The reliability of this result is not assignable, and the value is not consistent with the gaseous state of the substance. A vapour pressure of 202,000 Pa has been determined by an appropriate validated QSAR model. The result is considered reliable and suitable for key study.

The vapour pressure of the silanol hydrolysis product has been predicted to be 7000 Pa at 20 °C, using a validated QSAR prediction method. The result is considered to be reliable.
