First-aid measures

- Inhalation : If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If overcome by exposure, remove victim to fresh air immediately. Allow the victim to rest. Seek medical advice. - Skin contact : Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by warm water rinse. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops. - Eye contact : Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking, tears or redness persist. - Ingestion : Rinse mouth. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Seek medical attention immediately.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media Extinguishing media : All extinguishing media can be used.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture Special exposure hazards : Vapor mixes readily with air, forming explosive mixtures.

Advice for fire-fighters Flammable class : This product is flammable. Protection against fire : All fire-fighting personnel must wear safety suits. Use self-contained breathing apparatus when in close proximity to fire. Prevention : No smoking. Keep away from sources of ignition. Special procedures : Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Surrounding fires : Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures Personal precautions : Equip cleanup crew with proper protection. Respiratory protection equipment may be necessary.

Environmental precautions Environmental precautions : Prevent entry to sewers and public waters. Notify authorities if liquid enters sewers or public waters.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up After spillage and/or leakage : Clean up any spills as soon as possible, using an absorbent material to collect it. Use suitable disposal containers.

Precautions for safe handling General : No naked lights. No smoking. Handling : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking and when leaving work. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Precautions in handling and storage : Do not use compressed air to either agitate or transfer the contents of storage containers ( tanks) / shipping drums containing this material.
