Find out whether you are affected by authorisation

To find out whether your business may be affected by authorisation, you need to have an overview of all your substances and uses.

Substances that have been identified as substances of very high concern (SVHCs) are included in the Authorisation List (Annex XIV) and cannot be used or placed on the market after a specified sunset date, unless the use has been authorised or is exempt from authorisation.

To see whether your business is affected, you should check whether any of the substances you use or place on the market are included in the Authorisation List. If your substances are included in the Authorisation List, you should check that your uses are not exempted from authorisation (examples of exempted uses include intermediates and scientific R&D).
