The auto-ignition temperature of the test
substance was measured, under GLP, according to DIN 51794/IEC 79-4
standards (listed in EU A15 guideline).
Three test series were performed, where
different volumes of test substance were injected into a heated flask,
until the lowest temperature at which ignition occurs was determined.
The relevant parameters were recorded for the final result.
The lowest of the three value was retained,
and rounded down to the nearest 5°C, resulting in an auto-ignition temperature
