Description of key information
Based on the CLP classifications, the substance is not classifiable as a flammable solid as no flammable properties are known. A flashpoint of 94 °C has been reported for D-menthol and consequently it can be assumed that at ambient temperatures the solid D-menthol is not ignitable and hence does not fulfill classification criteria for flammable solids. Experience of handling and use also does not indicate classification as a flammable solid.
