Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is a yellow powder with low water solublity. The partition coefficient is Log Kow 4 and the low water solubility means that surface tension, dissociation constant and hydrolysis testing is not possible.

The melting point is over 136 C and the boiling point has not been determined, although estimates suggest a boiling point over 700 C. It is likely that the substance will degrade above its melting point. The vapour pressure is considered to be negligible.

There is no indication of physical hazards from flammability or oxidising potential, although in common with other organic solids, dust explosivity is potentially possible under extreme conditions. The particle size analysis shows < 1% being below the inhalable fraction size.
