Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Take medical advice if over-sensitiveness reactions appear
(laboured breathing).
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse away thoroughly with plenty of water (about 15 min.).
Take medical advice if necessary.
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of skin contact wash off immediately with water and
soap; take a shower if needed.
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water.
Take medical advice if necessary.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, waterspray, foam.
Product arising from burning: Based on the chemical structure of the substance, it will
emit acrid smoke and fumes when heated to decomposition
(NOx, SOx).
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self contained breathing apparatus and appropriate
protective clothing for the chemical industry.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Avoid raising dust.
Take up by mechanical means.
Dilute remainder with plenty of water.
Provide for sufficient ventilation.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid the formation of aerosols.
Provide for ventilation of the room, when handling the
substance.
Use dosed process equipment.
Use suitable respiratory protective equipment (dust mask
P2), eye protection and gloves if there is a potential for
exposure.
Storage: Store under cool, well ventilated, dry conditions,
preferably not exceeding 5°C; keep away from food.
