First-aid measures

General advice: Take off all contaminated clothing immediately.

If inhaled: Move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

In case of skin contact: Wash off with soap and water. In case of burns apply cold water until pain subsides then seek medical advice. Do not peel solidified product off the skin. Obtain medical attention.

In case of eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water, also under the eyelids. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

If swallowed: Rinse mouth with water.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or car-bon dioxide. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local cir-cumstances and the surrounding environment.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: High volume water jet

Specific hazards during fire-fighting: Explosion risk in case of fire.

Special protective equipment for firefighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Further information: Use water spray to cool unopened containers.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid dust formation.

Environmental precautions: May cause long lasting harmful effects to aquatic life. Avoid release to the environment. Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Engineering measures: Effective exhaust ventilation system.

Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166

Hand protection Material: The selection of a suitable glove depends not only on the ma-terial but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Remarks: The exact break through time can be obtained from the pro-tective glove producer and this has to be observed. Wear suitable gloves.

Skin and body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.

Respiratory protection: Respirator with combination filter for vapour/particulate (EN 141). Half mask with a particle filter P1 (EN 143).

Protective measures: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
