Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye contact: Flush the eyes with fresh water.
Skin contact contact: Flush the contact site with large amounts of water.
Ingestion / inhalation: Gargle with water.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: All fire extinguishing media can be used.
Specific hazards arising from the chemical: None
Specific protective equipment and precautions for fire-fighters: Firefighters must wear the appropriate protective equipment. In the case of peripheral fire, immediately move the container to a safe place. If it is not possible to move the container then apply water to the container and the surrounding area.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment, and emergency procedures: Workers should wear the appropriate protective equipment, and approach the site of the accidental release from the same direction as that in which the wind is blowing.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: To prevent the leakage and pollution of water courses, sweep the leaked substance into a container and wash away any remaining substance with large amounts of water.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe Handling: Suitable protective equipment is to be worn to prevent the substance from being inhaled or coming in contact with the eyes, skin and clothing.
Dispersion of dust should be prevented.
Conditions for safe storage: The substance should be stored in a sealed container, at room temperature, and avoiding direct sunlight.
