The density of the test item was calculated as 1.1483 ± 0.0004 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C, which is the mean of two independent determinations ± the standard deviation. Standard deviation shows good correlation of the two determinations. Therefore, the study is considered valid.

Conclusions:
The density of the test substance was calculated as 1.1483 ± 0.0004 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C and the relative density is determined as D20/4 = 1.1483
Denser than water
Executive summary:

The density of the test substance was measured under GLP according OECD 109 / EU A3 guideline, using the pycnometer method with replacement liquid.

Two determinations were performed and the mean value was retained.

This result was then converted to relative density.

Mean density: 1.1483 g/cm3at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C

Mean relative density (D20/4) : 1.1483

Description of key information

The density of the test item was measured as 1.1483 ± 0.0004 g/cm3 at 20.0 ± 0.2 °C and the relative density is determiend as D20/4 = 1.1483

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.148

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted under GLP according to OECD 109 /EU A3 guideline, using pycnometer method with replacement liquid, is available. It is considered as a key study, and the result is retained as key data.
