Description of key information

The 72-hour ErC50 and 72-hour ErC10 on algae (Pseudokirchnerella subcapitata) were 0.843 and 0.387 mg/L; implying that Tetrakis[hydroxymethyl]phosphonium sulphate-urea-amine copolymer is very toxic to algae in the short-terms exposure and toxic to algae in long-terms exposure.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC50 for freshwater algae:
0.843 mg/L
EC10 or NOEC for freshwater algae:
0.387 mg/L

Additional information
