Description of key information

According to theoretical considerations based on chemical structure, hexylamine does not possess explosive properties.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

According to theoretical considerations based on chemical structure, hexylamine does not possess explosive properties. The reason for this is there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties in hexylamine. Thus, as per column 2 of Annex VII this end point was considered for waiver.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to theoretical considerations based on chemical structure, methyl phenylacetate does not possess explosive properties. The reason for this is there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties in methyl phenylacetate. Thus, methyl phenylacetate is considered non-explosive.
