Additional information

Due to the low solubility and complex nature of the test item, media for investigations of short-term aquatic toxicity were prepared as saturated solutions.

Conclusion on classification

Long-term toxicity data are available for three trophic levels (fish, Daphnia and algae) and have been used to calculate appropriate PNECs. However, the species of fish selected together with the method used by the Chinese testing house, plus expert assessment of overall substance-specific aquatic toxicity results leads to the opinion that classification for long-term aquatic toxicity is unnecessary in the EU.
