Additional information

An experimental study compliant with a standard method for the determination of the closed-cup flash point of combustible liquid

selected as the key study, showed that the flash point of the substance is 25.6°C

Based on a flash point of 25.6°C and a boiling range of 81.6°C-278.2°C, distillation residues of butyraldehyde, 2-ethylhexenal and isobutanal hydrogenation by-products is classified flammable (R10) according to 67/548/EEC and flammable liquid cat.3 (H 226) according to 2008/1272/EC (CLP, GHS).
