Determination of the
Melting Point /Melting Range
of FAT 40853/A TE
(GLP compliant study based on the Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, A.1, 2008, OECD No. 102, 1995 and OPPTS 830.7200, March 1998)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Results:

The determination of the melting point was performed by visualjudgementusing the capillary method.

In two preliminary tests up to 400 °C no changes in colour and physical stage were observed. At the end of the experiment the test item was solid.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, forFAT 40853/A TEno stage of melting could be observed. At the end of the experiment the test item was solid. No melting point according to the guideline could be observed.
