Abiotic hydrolysis is not relevant, since the substance is readily biodegradable and thus expected to be eliminated through biodegradation in natural waters. Since undecane and tridecane are moderately volatile, partition to air, to some degree, cannot be excluded. However, the substance will not be persistent in the athmospheric compartment, since both components are susceptible to indirect photodegradation in air.
