Description of key information

From the structure of bromoacetic acid it can be deducted, that it is likely that a bromine ion is released resulting in acetic acid. The half-life calculated was 9.17 - 21.25 days at 40 °C and 29.17 - 78.75 days at 30 °C, depending on the pH. No specific breakdown products have been identified in the studies currently available with the test substance.
