The water solubility of 1,1,1 -trichloroethane has variably been reported as 1250 mg/L at 23 0C (Brohom 1995), between 300 and 500 mg/L at 25 0C (WHO 2003), 480 mg/L at 20 0C (NAS-COT 2000) and as 1500 mg/L at 25 0C (ATSDR 2006). Of these results Brohom conducted investigations similar to the OECD 105 Shake Flask Method and is deemed reliable.
