1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)

Appearance Yellow to brownish clear liquid
Manufactured by Dorf Ketal Speciality Catalyst Private Limited
Supplied to JRF by Dorf Ketal Speciality Catalyst Private Limited
Date of Manufacture September 2017
Date of Expiry September 2019
Key result
Water solubility:
> 1 000 g/L
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 5 - <= 9
Conclusions:
 The solubility of TYZOR ACtivate 422in all the buffer waters[viz. pH 5, 7 and 9],was > 1000 g/L at 20 °C.
Executive summary:

Owing to extremely high solubility of the test item in all three buffer waters [viz. pH 5, 7 and 9], observed in the preliminary test, five times higher quantities of test item were weighed (0.5010 g for pH 5, 0.5006 g for pH 7 and 0.5019 g for pH 9)and transferred into three separate beakers and 0.1 mL of respective buffer water was added to the respective beaker. It was observed that the test item even got miscible in all the buffer waters at five times higher quantity.

Hence, saturation of test item in buffer waters that is essential in the “Shake Flask Method”, could not be achieved. Therefore, the experiment was stopped at this stage and no further analysis was carried out and the solubility of TYZOR AC 436 was reported as > 1000 g/L at 20 °C in all the buffer waters.
