As a result of the determinations using pre-pierced crucibles produced sharper endotherms the values obtained from these determinations (determinations 3 and 4) were used to determine the mean boiling point.

Mean boiling point: 217.8 ± 0.5 °C (491.0 ± 0.5 K) at 101.8 kPa (based on determinations 3 & 4)

Conclusions:
The boiling temperature of the substance has been determined to be 217.8 ± 0.5 °C (491.0 ± 0.5 K) at 101.8 kPa (atmospheric pressure).
Executive summary:

The boiling temperature was determined using a technique designed to be compatible with EU Method A.2 and OECD 103 (differntial scanning calorimetry).

During thermal analysis, the onset point of the relevant endothermic peak was stated as the substance boiling point. The boiling point is stated with regard to the ambient pressure during measurement.

The boiling point of the test substance has been determined to be 217.8 ± 0.5 °C (491.0 ± 0.5 K) at 101.8 kPa (atmospheric pressure).

Description of key information

EU Method A.2, 2017 - The boiling temperature was determined using a technique designed to be compatible with EU Method A.2 and OECD 103 (differntial scanning calorimetry).

Key value for chemical safety assessment
