no study available

Additional information

Justification for selection of skin irritation / corrosion endpoint:
Two in vitro tests have been performed first to evaluate the presence of corrosion property and then, being excluded the corrosion, to evaluate further the irritation property.

Justification for selection of eye irritation endpoint:
A BCOP in vitro study has been performed to evaluate the risk of severe eye lesion. The result excluded the classification in category 1 but according to the criteria stated in the OECD Supplement to Test Guidelines n. 437, the IVIS: 38.5 is not sufficient to classify

Justification for classification or non-classification

No classification for skin or eye irritation/corrosion is warranted under Regulation 1272/2008

BCOP test result gave an IVIS equal to 38.5 which falls inside the range of uncertainity. Neverthless other tests in vitro and/or in vivo exist on the correlated Elincs confirming the no-classification.
